Quick Update

Melbourne International Arts Festival has begun. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll have the time to go for anything since I've got my two assignment deadlines to rush for.

Rule of thumb, for my fellow mates out there, is never commit to anything without putting much thought into something.

I've done myself proud by signing up for pilates at Matrix Pilates, which is located at the corner of Swanston and Bourke - just above Politix. It's a small but cozy little studio. Am keeping my fingers crossed that I'm gonna be keeping up with my (so far) twice a week lunch time pilates on Tuesdays and Thursdays and HOPEFULLY, I'll fit in a session on Saturdays too. Mind you, my body's already aching from all the stretching, rolling, breathing and squeezing.

Back to the much dreaded assignments ...

Hi, am a faithful reader of yours. this is my first post..hope i don't scare you that strangers are actually reading your blog...i love pilates too..its fun and an effective ways of sculpting your body. you will see result in no time...of cos if you keep it up! I am very curious, how in the world would working womens like yourself have time in between their 1-hour-lunch to do sport? Don't the class mostly finish in 50 mins or an hour time? Don't you need to bathe and make up before work start? Seriously, i am a working person and i dont find time to fit in that. So i normally would work out before work. ;-)hope you would share your experience with me so i don't have to wake up so early for exercise every morning. :)) By the way, i love reading your blog! Keep it up!

This is really weird 'coz I've posted two comments here and non appeared. *puzzled*

Geen >> My official lunch break is 1 hr but my manager's flexible with my work hours and plus the fact I get into work early/stay back on most days of the week. So on pilate days, my lunch usually goes up to 1 1/4 hrs or so. The pilates studio is just 5 minutes away - so it takes me no longer than 10 minutes to get back and forth. I'd have a 45 minute session there, get back to work, shower and have ... a banana or a glass of soy milk for lunch. haha!

Sui Lin >> Pilates is a way better alternative than going to the gym during lunch breaks -- takes a longer time to cool down with the latter, I reckon.

Benbit >> Remember what I told you yesterday ?? NO swimming for me! :P
